Earlier today I was having a discussion with a coworker about Ashkenazi Germanic surname post-fixes, Stein, Berg, etc. She mentioned Frankenstein as a non-Jewish example, and I shouted “FrankenSTEEN.” She was too young to get it, but now I just feel sad.
